I'm a really happy person now. Nice pretty boots, Hot top, cute skirt. All I lack is the $49 dress. HAHAHAH. I can imagine Audrey going "VALERIE (W)ONG!" Hahahaha.

Im going to say gaysh*t stuff at my blog now. Im so glad that Ive got Audrey neh pok as my friend. Its like 2 yrs in the same class, sat beside each other in sec4 but we didnt really talk, let alone know each other. Then suddenly, BOOM, and we became close friends during JC years.

Its sooo nice to have someone to chill and have fun with whenever we feel like it. Sounds super gay but I love it when we meet up like on a weekly basis. Its a rare thing to find a friend who will laugh damn loudly and be super high with you, or be girly and bimbotic on certain days, and on other occasions, still be serious and emo. (odd expression, but who cares.)

Yup, enough of it. Im off to bed, soon.

AND YES. I HAVE WORK TML!

This photo is to prove to Audrey that there's a shop in Haji that has cats in it.

My relatives will be coming over this afternoon. Sigh, Sigh, SUPER sigh. I've distributed my stuff all over the house to let them have my room. My clothes are in a big luggage in my Sister's room, my Com is at the family unit, more clothes in my dad's cupboard, my study table at my parents' room. Now, Im roomless like a roaming individual. Sad and very pathetic.
SO yes, now Im waiting for time to pass so that I can head out to buy stuff and then meet Audrey who is currently telling a lie to someone online now. HAHAHAH.
Im so in love with my new boots. =)

AHHHHHH!!!!
Yunting is about to board the plane anytime now. So yes, one less friend near me. But still, technology is so advanced now so no worries. I shall email her NOW.

YEAH I'M A DAMN BUSY PERSON!
And a very tired one now.

So I've been doing up this glass shelf beside the cafe at YMCA, displaying nice works of art there. Im going to buy materials and continue beautifying the window display. I'm so glad Yew Chong is letting me do this by myself without any instructions. Im finally able to put my keen sense of colour to great use. I always wanted to dress mannequins and make them look good at the window but now, I've gotten a great substitute to it. =D And I get to buy props and claim money from YMCA. AWESOME!

I'm so glad to be able to do something to make myself proud. I have this whole shelf that I can look at and exclaim "I DID IT BY MYSELF!" Call me an idiot, geek, or plain fanatic, I just love doing the display so much. Its like solid concrete proof of something that I did. =D

Wait till I master the art of making videos then I will be able to LOVE the video that I will be making.

Oh it was really fun at YMCA ytd. I went down to start on the display, then lunched w Pauline, went gardeng at Bishan Home (the residents there are really cute), went back to YMCA w Yan An, continued on the display stuff while Yan An did his music, had free dinner at Ycafe with Khar, Yreading meeting with Khar, Pauline and Weiwen. NICE. =D And we did many stupid thgs.

So yes, I love my life now.

Boyfriend is coming over tml to help me pack stuff in my room. My relatives are going to stay for awhile and theyre using my room. *big SIGH.

Yunting's flying off tml and I cant send her off. =((( Hope she has a safe trip there.

Its been quite a while since I've blogged. Okay, maybe not, but last few days were filled with excitement so it feels like a long time since I've touched the com and sat down to recall on what I did.

So, I went for the countdown for the Youth Olympic Results on Thursday at the Padang. Boy, the atmosphere was awesome. The songs, the cheers, the screaming and not forgetting the jumping-around-like-at-a-rock-concert feeling and the red tshirts we were in. GREAT. And it was really so loving of Singaporeans to be so happy at our triumph. So loving that my goosebumps reacted. Everyone was like friends with each other. AH, so gay and bubbly and rainbowish. (If you get what I mean.) All in all, it was really an honour for me to be there. Who knows, maybe some camera took a photo of me and people from other countries watching it live saw me. Ha. Im an international star.

I must really thank Pauline for giving me this chance to lead a group of about 17 people whom I've never met before. The 12 volunteers in my group were so nice. I actually became good friends with most of them. I started out really reluctant to be there and ended up being so attached to this group. =) I guess when Pauline said she gave me all the nice people, she was telling the truth. Hahaha.

Friday. Went to Aud's house for a sleepover to make Yuting's present. Ended up being Dr Love, Siewhoon was Dr Feelings and Aud was Dr Crap. Lu was the patient, aka victim. Haha. Woke up early the next day to head to suntec for ntu talks. I am really attracted to Sociology and Communication studies. Being attracted is one thing, whether Im able to enter is another. Dreams are dreams and Ive got to wait for my results before I can make any decisions.

Went to Pitstop Cafe at Boat Quay after that. Aud's cousin worked there and he introduced us many really fun games. Lets see, we played the hand game, the shoot-each-other game, the hand twister game, the fruits game, and my favourite of the night- the animal game. HAHAHA. The game that made me laugh till my face went numb, my stomach went aching and my throat went itchy. Yuting's MOO sounded like a bloody siren. Audrey's sounds were all so high pitched, and when Lu tries to imitate it makes everything funnier. Siewhoon was so shy to make the noises so when she made it, it was funny alr. Ed's mouse squeaks were the toughest. No one can handle it except the guys.

Oh and I improved on my reaction time. I wasnt the biggest loser during the animal game. And people love to shoot me during the shooting game. They all think I'm the police. Oh sad, I always died very early during that game.

Yup, it was a small celebration for Yuting's bday. Hope it was the way he wanted it to be. Just plain fun and friendship-strengthening. I had fun, a whole lot of fun. So much fun that it felt like I was drunk or something.

Friends come in all different sorts.

Met up with boyfriend on my way home made my day even better. =)

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY.
Not to everybody, but yesterday was Vday for my boyfriend and I only. HAHAH.

If you're not ready for Goosebumps' attacks, please do not read the following. (But I'm sure you will read it anyway.)
So off we went to celebrate Vday again yesterday. Boyfriend bought me flowers. Okay, despite my love for them, I'm still super shy to hold them around. He's really shy with flowers as well. So it was a struggle at the start. Hahaha. But it was alright after awhile as Kallang had like a minute number of people.

Oh and Kallang Leisure centre is not really open yet so if you are thinking of going, dont. Unless you are in for iceskating, kboxing, movie watching, bowling, and playing at the arcade.

And the name of the theatre is FilmGarde, tickets at $7. Its a new member of the theatre oligopoly. Hahaha. Okay, I just had to write in the word 'oligopoly'.

Boyfriend and I caught the 5.10pm show of PS I Love You. Yes, as you expected it to be, its a lovey dovey show. Starts off with serious making out of the lead couple. But it started getting really sad when the guy dies and letters begin to float in. Oh man, dont ask me if I cried.
Before and after the show, boyfriend and I just ate and ate. There wasnt much to do there. But, its been a long time since we gave each other the time of the entire day to do nothing. Okay, not exactly nothing, it meant something to me.
Yup and seeing so many vacant shops at the mall, I realised what I want to do in the future (ya, another aspiration). I want to open an icecream shop with Samuel. He wants to have some gym thing in it too, but we'll see about it. HAHHA. But I will be the one who will come out with the innovative flavours for our icecream. He wants chicken rice icecream, no way. Heh.
And my boyfriend still looks hot as ever. HAHA.
Last but not least, to end this entry with the right tone,
PS, I LOVE YOU. =)

Thinking that Singapore lacks scenery? lacks a quiet peaceful place? Now, you should hop on a cable car and head down (or rather, head UP) to..

MOUNT FABER.

Went there with Yunting ytd and boy, we couldnt stop our trigger-crazy fingers. The place was so dream-like. There were like so few people on this hilltop and the soft music floats throughout this island. Such a romantic place. If thats not enough, you can even sit outdoors and have a nice cocktail by the beautiful scenery. If aircon is much preferred, you can sit indoors. Indoors of this restaurant is, WOAH. The table display, the candles, the lights, the bartop, and the glass walls (You wont miss out on the scenery). The Glass Bar.

And out pops out Sweeney Todd. HAHAH.

Now, if Mt Faber cannot satisfy you. Walk on down to Keppel Bay where there is this magnificiant bridge that will welcome you. Talk a walk in and you will recieve a whole lot of yachts parked at the port. Rich men's paradise. There's a bar there and TCC upstairs. The ambience there is just as beautiful.

Now, Let me end with a very profound quote which only coffee lovers will understand:

And my camera died.

The assortment of papercut bookmarks that my boss' daughter gave me. They were meant to be lucky bookmarks for my BTT book. Male boss told her that by giving me one, I will pass my test. So, she gave me four. =) Gingerbread man is damn cute, she even cut out a smile on its face.

There was a barber and his wife, and she was BEAUTIFUL~~
Okay, the damn tune is stuck in my head after singing it repeatedly with Tiying last night.

This blog entry is kinda rubbishy so pls ignore it. I'm half awake now and not at all sober. But I'm trying to take down notes of my thoughts ytd.

Yesterday was one of my few Valentines spent with a big group of friends, so for the first time, I get to analyse couples and their flowers along the streets. There were small bouquets and extremely BIG ones. The most memorable one would be the one at Cityhall MRT. He was so brave that we decided to clap for him. But the bouquet wasnt exactly pretty, but he was applauded for his effort. =D

All the pretty flowers yesterday will wither and die in a matter of days, but why do dumb girls, like me, love flowers so much? (Just in case you dont know how gay I am.) At that moment of receiving them, you will feel damn pretty, damn loved and proud of your boyfriend. But after having to carry it around all day, you start to feel abit tired and sick of it. Then you dump it back to your boyfriend. But when you get home, you start to become bimbotic and count the number of flowers in the bouquet. And then, you feel loved all over again.

The power of beautiful flowers.

CoffeeClub has great waiters. The Rock gave us free cookies cause it was Tiying's bday. He even cut it into a shape of a heart. And when we were leaving, he even shook Tiying's hand, making her go wild. HAHAHA.

Oh and needless to say, couples filled the entire place ytd, its like suddenly you realised, Singapore might have a baby boom anytime soon. Or rather, there might be a baby boom last night! (and perhaps we interrupted some when we were talking along the hotel rooms at Swisshotel.)

At the esplanade, there was practically no other forms of group outings, except those in dual-power. As what Pauline said, thankfully we didnt see any couples we know. Gawd, it would be damn awkward.

Oh and Bloody Mary is a drink not for the faint hearted. It was freaking HOT. Oh and my mango drink tasted a wee bit like blended sardines. It was still nice though.

Starbucks shouldnt close so early.

And it was sucha right time to start pulling red strings for potential couples, or rather just one couple. Hahahah. But its quite tough cause we dont meet up that often.

Yesterday's group outing wasnt very cliquey, which was brilliant. There was the ex-NYJCians- Pauline, Ty, Khar, I, the ex-Rjcians- Libing, Yishan, Yan An and the Ns men- Yiliang and Chris. But despite the distinctive groups of people, we still blend in together well. And age wasnt a barrier as well. Awesome. "Friends come in all sizes"- a quote from Winnie the pooh. =/

Oh and the cake Yiliang bought tasted great. It had many berries in it and a pinch of alcohol.

And the Tarzan-ish singer at Harry's is a mean old fellow. Cause during his break, we requested for a bday song. But his break became neverending, and only until we stepped out, he started playing music again.

Okay, I have more random thgs to say but I shall stop now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIYING!

HAPPY VALENTINES!

This year's valentine's day was really special. Nope, it wasnt spent with my boyfriend, it was spent celebrating Tiying's bday with the YMCA ppl. =D Its really cool being able to spend this lovey dovey day with friends from different schools. Its so sweet how friendship can actually be.

First, Yiliang, Libing, Chris, Tiying, Pauline and I had lunch together. Then all of us but Pauline went to Tanjong Pagar (?) for Libing's job interview. Bought flowers for Pauline, bought Cl's present, walked around marina sq, chilled at Coffee Club where there was this nice waiter who looked like the Rock.
Back to YMCA and met Yan An. Headed to Cityhall again to meet Khar and Yishan for dinner at Cafe Cartel. Then we went to Harry's at the Esplanade for a drink.
After which, Libing and Yishan left. The rest of us strolled and chatted around the Esplanade. The weather was really good and the company was great. Its like also a long time since I met Tiying and Khar. =D
Toured around Swisshotel, which was so purposeless. =/
Then off we went in 2 seperate cabs. Reached home at a lovely time of 2am. Hahaha.
What a friendshippy valentines day today. =)))
