HELLLLLO everybody! It feels like the midyears are all OVER. Shopping was really productive yesterday. I've finally got my MCR shirt, couldnt resist and I bought a Saosin one too. Jean's one looked really nice too. I want The Used and the other MCR shrits toooooo! If you feel guilty for not buying me a birthday present, now you know what to get for me. Hahahahha.

Yesterday's shopping was sinful but its birthday shoppppppppping!

My birthday may have fallen on the midyrs, but I should be thankful to have so many people remembering it. I had Jean and Yiling with the earliest bday surprise. I had Yunting and Belinda coming over to give me the strawberry cheesecake they made. I had Serene who bought me PATRICK during her geog field trip (which was quite long ago). I had Sihui singing me a totally out of tune bday song. I had Samuel studying all day with me. I had an assortment of cakes from my sister and I had many bday wishes. =) THANK YOU EVERYBODY.

I hope this bday has not ended yet! Hahahha.

Hope my midyears results wont be as bad as I expect it to be. =X

I'm alright, still have my mind intact and still able to feel happiness.

I TOOK THE FERRIS WHEEL yesterday! The small one at the UK fun fair. Ya, its not high but I still like the feeling of just going round and round, feeling the cool breeze, admiring the scenic view of Bishan. =/ Brilliance.

Went for my cousin's wedding dinner just now. What I like about wedding dinners? I get to dress up. What I hate about them? THE FREAKING LATECOMERS! I waited donkey years for the food to be served. But it was nice sharing the table with familiar people. My cousin insisted that I looked handsome today and I'll take that as a compliment. Not all girls can look handsome.

After prancing around in my prettty handsome outfit, its time to mellow down and start studying sampling. AH, hate studying.

A big thank you to Jean and Yiling for coming up with the lamest yet the cutest surprise for me. Its like an entire week earlier than my birthday but it was still sweet. I had nice oreo cheesecake (I LIKE~) and peach vodka. =/ I love the postcards and the ugly photos of me and the M)phosis slip ons. Its was great but studying seemed to have lost its priority. Hahahah.

I got home and my sister gave me my present too. Its a nice black dress-like thing with suspenders-like things. HAHA. I'm not good at this.

All in all, yesterday was a pretty day, despite the inner knot in me. I was in a daze at times, just thinking of stupid things. Sometimes I tend to make myself think of stuff that will make me sad, so that I will feel sad. Its like I'm sure I will end up crying but I just had to feel that way. I am sure that blasting "Vulnerable" on my mp3 will make me worse, but I just have to do it.

Crying is a brilliant form of expression. Dont underestimate tears, they are droplets of real emotions and real pain. But seriously, I think i am a FREAKING crybaby. I cry when I'm stressed out, I cry when I feel neglected, I cry when I am TAKEN FOR GRANTED AGAIN AND AGAIN, I cry when I realise how EMPTY PROMISES can be... and the list goes on.

I may appear like really happy and retardedly satisfied with life, but actually, its really difficult to make me contented. I am a person of expectations and when they go unfufilled, I will hate the world.

Ignore my rants, it must be the pre-midyears crisis.
F to the test of my memory power by the education system.
F to making me learn about the natural forces of geog. (its natural so why study it?!)

I figured out that I should not be jealous or mad if my boyfriend has an (ex)admirer. I have truckloads of admirers also. HAHA, ya right. But it just further proves that my love isnt blind. There are random people outside who is attracted to him as well. Those who are attracted should feel jealous and not me. My boyfriend is sexy and masculine at the same time and I am proud of it.

Today is the 3rd day in a row that I'm locked up in my secret chamber, mugging my brains out. Its crazy.

I've been very diligent, trying to complete revision for all my syllabus. But, everytime I finished a certain chapter, I will realise that actually, I dont remeber much of it. Seriously, this adds on to the stress. Knowing that all your efforts are not paid off, hurts terribly.

This is life. Your efforts dont necessarily have to be paid off. Go ahead and wail about how unfair life is. Life that is fair, isnt life. Sometimes, even if you dont do anything, you are able to reap rewards. But there are times when you put in your heart and soul but you get nothing in return.

What matters most is that you should not pay so much attention on the returns. Look at the process.

Ya right. Fuck to midyears!

I cant wait to meet Audrey and SiewHoon this saturday, I hope the rest of them are going too. Since after Andrew's birthday party, I tihnk i've been brought closer to all of them. The Sentosa trip has inevitably bonded us even further and so, I MISS THEM. Cant wait to hang around with them, taking crazy photos again!!!

I want to go SHOPPPING with Jean as well. We'll buy loads of things and feel the impact of it. =/ Hahaha. The greater the pinch, the greater the satisfaction. My closet has not seen many new-comers this holiday! AHH. I neeeeeed shoppping. Its like an addiction. =X

Okay, too much slacking makes me not want to study anymore. THATS BAD.

On a heavier note, DAMN, I hate studying. So much geography, so much econs, so much lit. Ah, my mind's gonna blow. Everytime I do something else besides studying, I will feel guilty and that sucks. But when I'm studying, I feel like doing something else. I'm having a split personality now and its terrible.

AHHHH, its coming again, the GUILT. I must mug.

What a beautiful life~~

I FREAKING LOVE MY HOLIDAYS!! =DD Let me recall what I did this week.

Monday: crazy shopping like there's no tomorrow with my Mum and sis before tuition. =D

Tuesday: went to RP to meet Samuel and went to catch Shrek 3. I think I was so in the holiday mood that I let myself laugh so hard during the show. Samuel even asked me "why you laugh like that?" Hahahah. Its funnny.

Wednesday: Down to Orchid Country Club with Samuel to play ball games with my family. I am bad with rackets but I still think I'm better than Samuel in table tennis. =) I was really glad that dear had fun with my family and they didnt bully him. =D

Thursday: Met Yunting and Yiling for shopping at town. We bumped into Sun Yan Zi at Taka. She looks younger and prettier than on tv. Great Singapore Sale is brilliant, I love seeing things at a cheaper price. I like the "BUY! BUY! BUY!" feeling. AHhh.

Friday: Despite the huge downpour in the afternoon, the muggy gang still met up to search for the best present for Siewhoon. Ed, Yuting, Aud, Lulu and I shopped at town. Finally decided on a nice pretty white tube dress for Siewhoon. Aud says "Its damn Siewhoon la!!" I agreed. Had Subway for dinner and we went home feeling excited for tml.

Saturday (tooday!): Siewhoon's birthday! It was FREAKING FUN! Let me say it again, FREAKING FREAKING FUN! AHHH, it was so fun, I wish I can start today all over again. =D EVERYONE was punctual today but we got Siewhoon to meet us 45min later. We bought a cheesecake and a Forever 21 hairband to match her dress.

All of us went to the roof of Vivo to have the cake cutting ceremony. Siewhoon changed into the pretty dress and YES, she looked drop-dead gorgeous. If I'm a guy, *drools*. Heh. A nice tourist couple gave us plastic forks so we could eat the cake. We really can eat cakes cause we finished it quite quickly. Off we went to Sentosa on the new LRT-like thing.

Rented double-sided bicycles: Lulu + Edward, Yuting + Aud, Siewhoon + ME! IT WAS DAMN FUN. NO! It was more than just fun. Hahahha. Siewhoon and I couldnt cope with upslopes though. Hah! Aud was the most relaxed. Lulu was damn funny when Ed tried the no-hands stunt. Hahaha. Ah! It was just out-of-mind fun. We cycled to the place near the haunted hse we discovered during our chalet last time. But it was half demolished alr. Cycled back to return the bikes. Siewhoon and I struggled badly when cycling on the road. We were damn scared cause the bus drove past SO CLOSE to us. Heh.

After cycling, we went to walk around, taking whacky photos. Then it was sky ride time! The view was really scenic and the company was nice. =)))) Aud was DAMN funny. Fear stage 4, final stage: cant even scream cause if she does, she fears she will fall off. HAHAH.

We went to have a walk on the beach. Nice scenery again. Took loads of dumb photos. It was so funny how the guys very cooperative to take weird pics with us. Hahaha. After that we went back to Habourfront for Pastamania dinner. And the beautiful day ended.

I'm so glad Siewhoon enjoyed herself and that ALL of us felt so happy at the end of the day. I'm still so happy that I keep thinking about the entire day. Small things like laughing at photos with Aud and seeing how Ed take photos of himself with Lulu on the bicycle were sooo heartwarming. I LIKE~
